Redefining shrimp farming in the Mekong Delta

The Urgent Challenges Facing Shrimp Farming in the Mekong Delta

Shrimp farming in Vietnam’s Mekong Delta is facing a severe crisis, with success rates dropping below 50%—and as low as 20% in some regions.

Outdated farming practices across 700,000 hectares discharge untreated wastewater, severely polluting water sources. This cycle of contamination fuels disease outbreaks, devastating shrimp populations and threatening the livelihoods of farmers.

New Shrimp Farming Designed for Efficiency and Consistency

We are transforming shrimp farming with innovative methods that prioritize sustainability, efficiency, and premium-quality production.
01
Reduced Water Usage

By using biofloc technology, we recycle water within the farm, eliminating traditional water exchange. This significantly reduces pollution while maintaining a clean and healthy environment for shrimp growth.

02
Optimized Land Utilization

Our advanced technology reduces water exchange by 80% compared to traditional methods. While conventional farms dedicate 70% of land to reservoirs and only 30% to shrimp production, we reverse this ratio. With 70% dedicated to production and real-time monitoring, yields are maximized without expanding land usage.

03
Phased Pond Design

Farms are structured with ponds tailored to shrimp growth stages, providing optimal conditions at every phase of development. This design minimizes disease risks, enhances shrimp health, and ensures consistent, high-quality production.

04
High-Scale Continuous Production

Our model enables up to 8 harvests annually—compared to the industry average of 3—ensuring a steady, reliable supply of shrimp while maximizing commercial value.

Our Scope

On-Site Research and Development Ecosystem

Each farm is equipped with a dedicated on-site laboratory to cultivate microorganisms that naturally purify water, ensuring pristine quality without the use of antibiotics.
Culturing Essential Microorganisms
Labs nurture microorganisms that maintain water quality and support shrimp health.
Real-Time Water Monitoring
Water quality is continuously monitored, with dynamic adjustments to microbial balances for optimal farming conditions.
Self-Sustaining Operations:
With its own on-site lab, each farm operates as a self-sufficient system, managing microorganisms and maintaining a healthy, sustainable environment for shrimp farming.
